In 2011/2012, I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes and Idiopathic Chronic Pancreatitis. In a span of four and one half months, I dropped to 137 lbs - a weight loss of 112 lbs. While the dramatic weight loss impacted my overall appearance, it was the delibitating pain that was the defining symptom. Visits to the hospital, averaging every 10 to 14 days, were as close to useless as possible. Time consuming testing with no pain relief for up to 12 hours. If you go to hospital with chronic pain, they immediately assume you are chasing narcotics and field a battery of tests before providing any pain relief. The last time that happened, January 26 2012, I was in excruciating pain for nearly 72 hours prior to a 4 am visit to the local hospital. It wasn't until 1 pm that I received pain relief. On leaving, I made it my mission to find an alternative to avoid any return trip to the hospital. I found such pain relief through a commonly available natural product. I have now been using that daily since 2012 and have had no pain attacks and no return visits to the hospital.

Imagine, if you will, feeling a bit of numbness around your mouth. Go to the mirror and the shock of your life. Half of your face is drooping, your lower eye is a gap from the eye socket. Your eyebrow is hanging down, and you have no creases left anywhere on that side of your face.
Try to get a...

I was diagnosed with diabetes back in early 2011. Then came a diagnosis of Idiopathic Chronic Pancreatitis in September of the same year. That came about as a result of losing 112 lbs in roughly 4 1/2 months. I had been visiting the emergency department of our local hospital at least every two...

A Google search led to an AI answer: "In the context of CB2 receptors, an antagonist is a substance that binds to the receptor and blocks or inhibits its normal function, preventing activation by endocannabinoids or other agonists". An antagonist, then, is a trigger.
One of the best "antagonist"...

I was searching for a natural solution to help my wife achieve better sleep. My search drifted towards Cannabidiol (CBD), largely because I tried CBD several years ago. It worked, but was too difficult and too expensive to pursue on a regular basis.
In my searches, I uncovered some information that...

Again last night: someone diagnosed (and hospitalized) with Acute Pancreatitis. I have a way of dealing with the pain without massive expenses, and without narcotics. Read on, thousands are already using it. (By the way, anything with "itis" in the name is inflammation - in this case, inflammation...

I was placed on a medical leave in August of 2023. I stopped driving transit bus at that point, but returned to driving school bus part time in mid August. By mid September, I was unable to continue and resumed the medical leave. The medical leave expired at the end of December.
At that point, I...

I had a CT scan in October 2023 along with lab tests. Both showed unexpected results.
The CT scan shows "atrophy" pancreas. The report uses the words "end-stage chronic pancreatitis". At the doctor's appointment, he described it as no longer functional. I don't quite believe that, so the words I...

My original self-treatment program involved three phases. I won't be discussing the phases any more, instead I will focus on the main part of the program that deals with pain management.
Bicarbonate
One of the functions of the pancreas is to produce bicarbonate. Bicarbonate has many uses that...

Many years ago, I launched a website outlining my self-treatment programs. There are three stages, all three were well documented.
I also participated in many user groups and Facebook pages for pancreatitis support.
I was so disillusioned by the process that I gave up the website and any...
